Beautiful first full day without having to fly! Got to Rennes by TGV and rented the car....after lunch! Wonderful hotel Oceania Rennes in a suburb north of the city. Tom is relearning the stick shift and it is causing whiplash! First afternoon went to the fun supermarket E. Leclerc which we enjoyed in Auray last year...this one is a MEGA store! Visited the American Consulate this morning and the security guard who answered the door could not speak English but did explain that we didn't have an appointment. We read that it is good to check in! Tomorrow on to Kerdruc to meet Vincent. Also, a huge thank you to the Angles who helped us move everything out of our house and bought furniture and belongings!!!!!!
