New appreciation for our neighborhood!
School started in the UK and France on Monday, September 2nd. What a difference in the traffic, both automobiles and hikers! Our port was so calm yesterday evening that it felt like the middle of winter!
Today, we were escorted to the Chateau d'Poulguin by our neighbor, Jim, who has lived in Kerdruc for 6 years. We could not get too close to the chateau as someone is living there and there are workmen all around doing work on the main building itself. From around the corner, you have a better view of the Atlantic Ocean.....just minutes from our house, but not reachable except by boat. Tom is walking the trail back from the chateau now. Perfect day and thanks Jim for showing us more of our wonderful neighborhood!

ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! One question, though. What's a pigeon house? Is it the little box on the roof?

ReplyDeletehad to look it up myself...could not remember why they were built! Interesting!
