French Driver's License......we must be getting good at the French paperwork!

It has taken several days of putting together documents, getting photos made, going to Quimper to get forms and instructions and then to Brest today to take the final application!  Finally, after a half tank of gas and 3 hours of driving, we've got our "temporary" licenses....we had to give up our Maryland licenses in exchange for the French licenses......there are some States in America that have an agreement to exchange a license with France and when we arrived, Maryland was not on that list....but Washington DC and Virginia were!  So, Tom wrote to our Governor O'Malley and it is now on the list!  So, Tom wrote back to the governor and thanked him for making our lives much easier!  This enabled us to NOT have to take the WRITTEN TEST IN FRENCH!  Bravo!

Temporary licenses.....blank expression required!

Also, we finally ordered the DVD of my favorite movie of France and it's now time for movie night!  Anyone interested????

Thanks to John S. for the tip on the website to get it in France and not have to pay $20 in postage from the UK!
