Calla's coming to France in 3 days! And what a difference a day makes!

The tourists have gone back home, the diners no longer have a Bistrot, and the Port is soooo QUIET!  The Bistrot closed on Monday and furniture, heaters, and umbrellas were taken away to storage!  The deck was pressure washed and the fosse was cleaned out!  Wow!  What a difference a day makes!

Also, Calla is coming to France on Saturday and we are overexcited!  We first head out on Friday to Nantes to the airport to pick up Pilla (part of our family now!) and we will spend the night in Ile d'Oleron near La Rochelle.  We will visit Anna and Klaus and newcomer Aston.  Can't wait to see them and see where they live on a beautiful island off the coast of France.  Then off to Bordeaux to pick up Calla and then on to the timeshare condo in Alenya, close to the Spanish border, for a week.  Pilla will return to Norway on Tuesday and after Friday, we'll head to Barcelona and then on to Bilbao, Spain.  It will be Tom's and my first trip to Spain and Calla will show us Barcelona.  She spent a week in a timeshare with friends 2 years ago south of Barcelona.  Vacation!!!!!!
