Summer abruptly winding down......

Seems the tourists have all gone home to prepare for the "la rentrée" or better known in English...Back to School.  Overnight, the traffic in towns dwindled and the beaches returned to quiet.  We have been busy and happy.  Some photos of the last month's activities:

One Fete we had to pass up....in Le Pouldu...Harvest Festival featuring parade of ancient farm tractors....we are still hoping for a pig roast somewhere......not sure what the baptism by helicopter was about.....!

  1. Helicopter baptism? I Googled it, and apparently, your first helicopter ride is called a helicopter baptism. You can buy Tom that for his birthday, Shirley!
