Will Spring ever arrive? Barbershop quartet at the barbershop, 193 kph winds, and anticipating a trip to the U.S.!

The winter weather seems to keep hanging on…..and on…..a few days of dry weather but the beach suntan will have to wait a while…We had a horrendously windy few days and many trees in our area fell….especially large ones near the Chateau Henan near us.  Many blocked streets and 2 people in France were killed by falling trees!

We have new neighbors!  They are Izumi, Xavier and Akira.  We were told by the parents of one of Tom's fellow rowing club members that we needed to meet them as they live just a few houses away.  They are totally renovating an old Breton two story house and are living in just a few rooms until the work is done.  Izumi has joined our French class in Nevez and we invited them and their friends (and young adult children) to dinner this past weekend for Sukiyaki.  It was so much fun and with 10 of us, it was quite cozy!

We were happy to finally see the 4Play group of Barbershop singers at Quimperle in an actual  downtown barbershop.  Fun!  Our fellow American friend, Hank, heads the group.

Only 10 days to go before I travel to Washington to see Calla, stay with Jane for a week, and see all my doctors, dentist, and chiropractors.  Can't wait to get to TJ Maxx and Marshalls for shopping!!!!!!  Also looking forward to BBQ, fried okra, Mexican food, and Bobby Flay hamburgers!!!!    The things we expats miss………..Glad I'm not traveling today as the East coast is having a huge Nor'easter!!!!!!
