April and it's still cool and wet!

We were hoping that the beginning of Spring would be nice and warmer….we were wrong!  At least now, the second week of April has been better with more sun and warmth and less rain.  Everything is growing!  John has been here for a week and has nearly completed the deck!  What an improvement over the rotten, mildewed decking before.  Also the shutters were painted and hung!  Things are looking good!!!!!

We also attended the 20th anniversary of the choir that our 3 neighbors and another friend are member of in Tregunc.  They invited two other choirs from Brittany and the evening was magical…the combined choirs were absolutely wonderful singing "Sailing" and "Highlands Cathedral" (both British).  Gabby played several solos on the clarinet (what a feat for the youngest member of the choir….31 years old!
