Summer is gone! The Bistrot is empty of all furniture, the music and noise are gone for the year!!!!! Yippee!!!

The nights have been quite cold lately....7 or 8 degrees C and the days have been up to 24 or so....nice crisp, fresh air!  We have been busy with our Carte de Sejour renewal and U.S. Taxes!  Many of the neighbors have gone back to Paris and it is beginning to calm down.  

One exciting event this month was the 2nd annual Fete de Voisins with over 80 in attendance!  Perfect weather again and lots of fun food.  Also met some neighbors we had never met before.  

The Journées du Patrimoine 2018 was a huge success with the Nevez Association of Patrimoine including the chapel St. Mathieu, the fountain of St. Mathieu and the Chateau of Henan.   While we were talking to the president of the association outside the chapel, we were introduced to the owners of the Chateau of Henan.  Interesting people who don't look rich or old!  We also took a spur of the moment overnight trip to the north of Brittany to visit things we have missed all these years.  Also perfect weather!
