Joyeux Nöel et Bonne Anné and Nedeleg laouen na bloavezh mat! (that's French and Breton)
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas indoors.....rain outside! Rain is an understatement! I guess it is the season..... We had some very sad news last week about a French friend of ours who died alone on his boat while fishing of a heart attack. He was 70 years old and we did not learn of it until after the funeral. He will be missed...such a kind soul.
We had a great celebration with neighbors and friends last night with turkey and all the trimmings....even found fresh cranberries at the last minute! It was wonderful and now we can relax on Christmas while we cat sit to 2 cats of neighbors. So that will get us out of the house....even in the rainy weather! Thanksgiving was also fun with neighbors and the rare turkey at Thanksgiving.....but had to order canned cranberries!
We were lucky to find a clear, dry evening to see the exceptional lights in Pont Aven. See attached photos.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
