Easter weekend with crowds!
It was a fabulous week leading up to Easter and the weekend as well. So many tourists and the Bistrot below opened on Friday. The grocery stores, motor ways, beaches and streets of towns were full of tourists! What wonderful weather in the 70's and loads of sunshine! Today is Tuesday and the weather has cooled off and there are clouds and lots of wind! Nice while it lasted.
We had a wonderful 4 day trip the weekend of Palm Sunday to the Loire Valley, visiting museums and chateaux and celebrating 45 years of marriage. Got to see new chateaux Amboise and Chaumont. Also visited the Museum in Nantes after 6 years of renovation. Lots of fun times and good food!
Now after trying to decide where to have surgery for my newly diagnosed problem post Metro accident, I am booked to head to Washington to hopefully have surgery at Georgetown Hospital. Praying hard that my new ENT can get me in and that I won't be a pest to everyone there.....
