Summer 2019 ..... sunny, hot and dry!
What a long stretch of sunny days we have had! Beginning after my return from DC in mid-June, there is finally some rain now close to August! Terrible canicule in France.....Paris 108 degrees one day but very hot all summer for them!!!!
Almost 60 people again this year for Jambalaya with perfect temperatures in the low 70s and sunny with a little breeze! Can't ask for better. Lots of people were not in town as we held the fête in mid-July, but we had a marvelous time and everyone seemed very happy to be here! Getting older is not easy to pull this off!
We also enjoyed very much a 60th birthday of our neighbor Marc with lamb dinner outside with 70 of his closest friends and family. We are looking forward to almost a month in September/October in Holland and Berlin! Here are some pics.
