Christmas in Kerdruc

It has been a long time since our vacation to Holland and Berlin....but we have been busy.  Lots of dinners with neighbors and friends and as always, French class on Wednesdays and Conversation Group on Fridays.  Also keeping up with Aquagym on Thursdays.  We spent a very quiet Christmas with Tom ill with stomach virus which is epidemic in Quimper....

Working backwards, we were invited on Christmas Eve before Mass to drinks with the fun neighbors with 3 kids....a fun hour that wore us out....lots of  fun before they left for church.  Then 2 days of car shopping since our Peugeot's transmission died.  Being without a car for Americans is impossible!  Thanks to help from all neighbors and especially Olivier, we were able to find an almost new C3 Citroën with automatic transmission and essence fuel.  It has a dent in the back which is being repaired and we were given a loaner car.

We found turkeys for Thanksgiving and before Christmas.  Enjoyed sharing with French and Japanese friends who were new to this...they especially liked the fresh cranberry sauce and yams with marshmallows.

The Auberge opened for a short time this winter and we had a very nice time....great place!!!!   Some pics....
