Coronavirus 2020
Quarantined
Our quarantine has been rather mild as we are all recovering from something! I had my ankle fused on March 11th, Mimo had all of his teeth pulled out on March 13th, and Tom has suffered with a virus for 2 weeks (2 doctors said it was not the Corona Virus). Calla has been healthy! Photo is Tom and Calla cleaning and medicating my stitches and Mimo giving moral support. Watched the National Cathedral service on line with no congregation but beautiful organ music and 5 choristers. Flights home were canceled by Air France but rescheduled for April 6 on Delta......through Detroit. But the leg from CDG to Brest was cancelled. Maybe May 15th??? Will try to call. We were able to see the cherry blossoms almost at peak by car...mall mostly empty and eeriely quiet on the streets of D.C. Lots of good Netflix, Prime and PBS .
Had a video appointment with my primary care doctor, a phone call with my ENT and a visit to Georgetown Hospital to have the stitches removed and a cast made!
Had a lovely French Class today with our teacher Sarah, Dave and Linda all in France and Terry and Kathy in London (with their granddaughter and their son and Daughter in law...).

This is the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic, declared March 11th, 2020.
March 13, 2020, was our last day we were in school.
Why, you ask, do I write this status?
One day it will show up in my memory feed, and it will be a yearly reminder that life is precious and not to take the things we dearly love for granted.
We have so much!
Be thankful. Be grateful.
Be kind to each other - love one another - support everyone.
We are all one! ❤️
