Best news for the United States of America and what's up in Kerdruc

The election of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris has been the best news in 4 years! We were hiding from the news and heard from Calla that the votes had finally been counted and we had a new president! What a relief and we pray that the transition will occur..... The semi lockdown has been easy as we could visit the beaches, hold French classes, host lunches, and conversation group outside when the weather permitted. Then the weather turned cold in October and it became difficult. On November 1, France declared a 2nd lockdown and we now have to have an "attestation" when we leave our house. This consists of a formal form provided by the state to fill in on line or on paper. There is a list of reasons to check for you to choose. We are allowed an hour a day to walk outside and we can go to the grocery stores and pharmacies. All schools are open except Universities. We hope December will bring fewer cases. Tom is walking an hour almost every day and Shirley is walking for about 20 minutes and now does not use crutches.
