Snowing in Kerdruc!!!!!
It's been a strangely cold winter this year and we've had snow off and on in small amounts, but today, there was a heavy snow and about an inch of snow left on the ground!!!!!
The Kinetherapist called this morning to ask us to cancel our 3 pm appointments because a patient of hers had an accident on her way to the office. This patient put on the breaks and slid off the road and crashed her car! What a catastroph!
There has been snow in Brittany this past week but mostly in north Brittany, such as Morlaix and Mont St Michel.
Luckily, Tom had his stress EKG yesterday in Lorient and not today!!!!! He said the test went well and nothing unusual appeared so he passed!!!! Good news! Also, Shrley saw the orthopedist who said her ankle was in good shape and healing well. So hopefully, no doctor's appointments for a while!
Calla has been busy with Mimo over the past month because of his diabetes. After load of trips to the vets he seems to finally be in remission. He is more alert now and has been very cuddly. He is such a sweet cat! We miss him! Also, our sauvage female cat has disappeared and we assume that she has succombed to her poor health of the past year. She has gradually gotten emaciated and we have not seen her at our house for over a month! We miss her but she would have never survived this below zero temperature and snow!
We continue our French classes via skype and look forward to the weather being warmer so we might finally meet friends outdoors. We have seen a few Conversation Group people over the past few months.
We are thrilled to have a new President who is intelligent, kind, calm, respectful, and trusted! Also to have a woman Vice President is awesome!!!!!
We don't have our CoVID vaccines yet but we are in the 2nd round....hoping for it soon!
Some pics and movies: Our terrace with snow; Mimo being sweet; Calla pic for award nomination from work; and an old photo of Kerduc from Rosbras ... probably 70 years ago!
