Merry Christmas from Kerdruc 2021

Christmas was quiet in Kerdruc this year due to the Omicron COVID virus. We tried something new this year for our dinner on Christmas Eve "Réveillon". As advertised in the LeClerc mailing, we opted to order their take out "traiteur" menu. Ordered and paid for on-line, we picked up the meal at the "Drive" very quickly. The meal contained the two menus in blue...too much food for two people but we had leftovers for Christmas lunch. Besides tasting too much foie gras, it was amazingly good. Everything went into the microwave except the scallops that went in the oven. So, the scallops, veal, chicken, fish, and side dishes were a good experiment. We also bought a bûche de Noël for dessert. Not sure what we'll do next year, but turkeys were plentiful this year and we missed the leftovers....but not the work.
