Wonderful Ireland, Scotland and Northumberland and the crazy weather continues........

We have had an awful month of tempetes (storms) and lots of damage, mostly to trees which fell on power lines. Many people have been without power for weeks. The winds were 90 mph at our house and 148 kph on the far west coast! We were lucky to just have been without for 12 hours. Good way to clean the freezer and frigo. Our privacy fence was also blown over and damaged...we think we deserve some good weather.... We spent the most wonderful 2 1/2 weeks in Ireland, Scotland and Northumberland in October with Calla! The driving was difficult but the friendly people made it very enjoyable! It was nice to hear English spoken (even a little Scottish). We were also happy to visit friends Rhodanne and Michael in Dublin and Barb, Ginny and Gunner in the south of France. It was a great vacation.
