No relief from rough weather!

Sunny days are so rare these days and to add additional stress, the owner of our house in Tregunc has decided to sell. So we have until May 30th to find another! Rental houses and apartments are so rare in this area because second home owners want to rent them at exorbinant prices in the summer short term! After our great trip to he UK in October, we escaped for a few days to Vitre and Fougeres just a few hours north west. We hoped to find Marches de Noel, Christmas markets, but many were cancelled due to rain! But we enjoyed the chateaus and museums. We also went to a sausage and crepe roast in Kerdruc with an ancient bread oven....wonderful Kerdruc friends! Christmas and New Years were quiet.

The new year brought sadness with the passing of our good friend Claude Michel, a wonderful member of our Conversation Group and the husband of Lynne Tiltman, John, lost to cancer.  Very sad, but incredible funeral services.  We also have had the luck of having a deacon from Wales who has led several prayer services and performed an English church service in Nevez for John.

We have had a few ideas for a new place to live, but nothing is sure. We are looking forward to seeing Calla again in April for 2 weeks in the Dordogne in central France.
