Jambalaya #36.....this one with heavy rain! But wonderful friends and great food!

After several weeks of brilliant sunshine, the rain returned on our special Jambalaya day!  We had worked for days getting our garden ready for the party, but had to bring the picnic inside!  We had a great turnout, but fewer than expected, probably due to the rain, but we had a fantastic time!  The Jambalaya was excellent and we had a great mixture of our French neighbors, French Conversation Group members, and our English neighbors, French Class members, French Conversation Group members, and one very special 6 year old Breton granddaughter named Lucille.   She was so much fun and she danced like a real creole/cajun to the song named after her.....Oh! Lucille.  Also, Breton dancing started by Sally and Mike accompanied by Annie on the mini accordéon also known as a squeezebox.  Wonderful memories of a rainy, albeit fantastic petite fête.
