Summer winding down, tourists thinning out, and beautiful weather still

This summer has really seemed to go by fast!  We have very much enjoyed the Summer English Church and the visit from our landlord and family.  Here are some of things we have been fortunate to participate in:

Wonderful Boat Trip from Kerdruc to Pont Aven RT with landlord and family

Claude, Gabrielle, Ginny, Dee, Oliver, Tom, Shirley and Jules at Pont Aven

Marc's sailboat trip to popular destination, the Iles de Glénan - Adventure for Tom…..Shirley sailed only to Port Manech where other friends boarded and she was picked up by great friends Chris and John and taken home…..lucky for her, since they had a 14 hour day….way too much for her!  Tides were a a bit of a problem! Mark anchored a bit shallow and had to wait for the tide to re-lift the boat. South Brittany has 3 to 5 meter tides.

Sweet 2 1/2 year old barefoot sailor Anne with grandfather Marc leaving Kerdruc (on left)
Anne asked to go on the boat when she heard her papi Marc and aunt Ophilie were going.
Anne playing with winch handle. It occupied her for a half hour.
