Getting ready for Summer!

Thanks to ingenious German engineering, we have a less expensive way to enjoy the fresh air and keep the mosquitoes and flies out of our house.....bought at Lidl, these are screens that can be attached to our skylights and odd sized windows and doors...the most interesting one is.........photo below

And today, we went to Quimper to the car dealer where we bought our car for some maintenance things....400 euros later.....we have air conditioning that works and we can see the display for the heating/cooling.  Not only did they change the oil and other things, but they washed the car for us and loaned us a Citroen for the entire day....we went to the Thalassotherapy in Benodet which is just south of the dealer and had a great swim and energetic aquagym class!  We then walked around the town which we had never done before and found some take out lunch to eat at the port where the boats go up and down the Odet River.  We need to do that some time!  We then returned to the Geant store and bought some things we needed, just to fill some time until our car was ready.  

Then home where Tom napped and I got caught up with the Boston Bombings which are ever present on the news here.  Tragic!  I'm sure the people of Europe are uneasy knowing the bombers were from an Eastern European country.
