A break in the windy, wet weather for a drive! also some news of Calla's job hunt and yummy crepes!
A good day without rain to visit the Crozon peninsula north of our area...on the Atlantic Ocean! Beautiful views of the raging sea! Some pics....
Also, a wonderful crepe "dinner" with Anne the other day. Her expertise is awesome.....she is a real Breton crepe maker....this time we had dessert crepes...they were delicious!
CALLA's JOB NEWS
Calla has had some good news regarding her job...apparently, another contractor who does not have their contract will probably hire the entire team of 10 people to continue the work they have been doing for 10 years! So, Calla has been applying and interviewing for other jobs and has had some interesting leads......time will tell if she will still have a job at the end of November. Apparently, the new company will keep the team in the same office and pay the same salaries...that would be nice! They just won't be working for TerpSys any more! Lots of questions to be answered.....but it sounds like a good solution, especially for the researchers who rely on this team to keep track of clinical trials, research data, and other things for the National Cancer Institute !
