Fun outing with Jilly to Le Faouët
This afternoon we took a very nice jaunt to a town north of us where we had never been, much less ever heard of before. The purpose was to visit our friend Jilly and see the special art exhibit that she suggested: "The First World War as seen by painters of Brittany". Fabulous artwork, posters, letters with drawings, and books all displayed in a beautifully renovated church and convent in the town of Le Faouët . We then visited the Chapelle St. Barbe which is a beautiful chapel far out into the country on a very steep hillside....breathtaking!
