Delightful French Conversation Group!

Today was the French Conversation Group....some members stayed home ill, but a good group of 5 made it......to Danielle's house.  She lives way out in the country north of us about a half hour.  Jilly went with us and Rob did not as he is under the weather.  We enjoyed conversation, tea and King Cake.....Galette des Rois.  Daniele is off to Cambodia for a month with a friend from Paris (Paris is where she lived before returning to Brittany).  She and her husband went around the world on a wonderful tour many years ago and saw so much of the planet!  She is like me...itchy feet!  

Yuna (French) is the other co-president of the group with Jilly (British) and she is also awesome!  She spent many years in England and loves it still.  She is the treasurer of the twin cities of Concarneau....photo below from their website.....she has yet to visit Senegal, but has been to Germany and England.

I'm including photos of our group and a great photo of the bottles in Danielle's bathroom.  These look like spices at first glance, but they are actually samples of sand from all the places she has visited...like the Sahara desert!  Her house is full of fascinating things gathered from her travels.  Can't wait to see her photos when she returns!  What an exciting trip!  She has been all over Asia but never to mainland China...next trip?
