American/English Section at the Casino Market and dinner with the English

As promised, here are the photos of the section of the Casino Market which are deemed American or English.....see if you agree.... Hellman's  is from New York City.......and Campbell's soup is from Camden, New Jersey.  Frank's Red Hot Sauce is from also from New Jersey...... We have tried the famous British HP steak sauce but found it much less to our liking than our familiar A1.

We had dinner with Sally and Mike last evening and also met their neighbors Pat and Julie.   They prepared a delicious meal of chili con carne and an entree of assorted pates of wild boar, salmon, and duck.  For dessert we had fruit salad with meringue and creme fraiche and then a course of cheeses.  Delightful dinner and wonderful to meet new people, even if they are English speaking....Sally and Mike are members of our French class in Nevez.  We are also meeting them for lunch in Bannalec at a Routier (truck stop) next week while they are chicken sitting for friends in the area.
