Fresh Fish!

We had been waiting for monsieur Thomas to return from fishing last night and when we saw him loading his boat, we went down to deliver a box of chocolates for him and his wife for the New Year......we have not seen him for quite some time.  This time he was very successful and caught 10 perch..or bar fish.  He gave his smallest to us and Tom spent some time looking at videos on the internet to help him with the job of cleaning the fish...it's been a long time since we had a fresh fish in the house!  So, we will eat the filets today and report back to  monsieur Thomas.  It was good to see him again and wish him une bonne année et une bonne santé  !

UPDATE:  The fish was outstanding!  So fresh and even a day later, the best tasting fish we've ever had!  Thanks monsieur Thomas!!!!
