Happy New Year!
Started the day with a call from Calla...she was awake at 3 a.m. ---- too much coffee at work and too much fun at the New Year's Eve party on the 2nd floor of her building with 20 friends......Later caught the end of "A Good Year" with Russell Crowe, my favorite movie of all time, in French...
We took a walk in our neighborhood and noticed there were new signs of life....lots of people from Paris? down for the holiday. Even the retired Belgian judge is here. We are eating black eyed peas for good luck and will have prime rib tonight! Oh la la..... Saw our neighbors, Henri and Claudine, with their granddaughter (from Paris and she said she is half American ...born in NYC) in the car. They were on the way to have "tea" with the parents....these photos are of our neighborhood!
