Busy Monday !!!

Well, we keep forgetting to take photos, but we rented a truck from the Intermarche today and went to Quimper to buy furniture....everything on sale was already gone, so we paid more but we think we are happier.....with better quality......a sofa bed couch, a foam mattress for our bed, a glass table for Tom's office which is adjustable...with lights...photo to follow....that can be used as a coffee table, or dining table.  Also found 3 more chairs that match one of the 10 euro chairs we bought on Friday....just 19 euros each.....so we have 4 comfortable dining room chairs now!  Yea, friends won't need a chiropractor...but I still do....hint, hint, BFC!  The truck was pretty large but Tom enjoyed driving it with the stick shift.....so tomorrow more unpacking boxes and then on Wednesday, we take Lynne back to Rennes to the airport where she will attend the christening of her great grand child....in Wales....what a trek!  We'll go to the IKEA in Rennes while there again to return a table that was defective and buy more storage boxes for our clothes and a dresser...we'll be pretty set if we rent an unfurnished house for the 2nd six months of our visa....we need prayers that the French will let us stay another 6 months....we spend enough American dollars to be pretty valuable to them!!!!!

Then on Thursday, Thanksgiving, we are celebrating by leaving town and heading to a Thalassotherapy hotel......not too expensive and the cost includes the warm salt water pool!  We both miss Big Vanilla sooooo much and our muscles can use the warm water.  Only one night, but we'll get to visit the area around Brest and Douarnanez where the hotel is on the ocean, I think...we'll send photos...now time to drink another glass of the box wine we bought (everyone does that)...pretty good Cotes du Rhone!
