Day Away at the Thalassotherapy Spa in Dournenez!

It's hard to come home after being pampered by the warm salt water spa!  We spent over 2 hours on Thanksgiving Day and almost 2 hours today soaking, swimming, exercising and enjoying the sauna.  What an exciting way to "get away".  The hotel was great and considering the spa price (12 euros for 1/2 day each) was included in the price of the room, it was a great value!   The water was very salty and refreshing!  We'll go back there!

Before arriving at the spa, we drove the south coast of the Point du Raz, stopping along the way for lunch at a beach with beautiful stones and 100 kph winds!  Hard to stand up and walk around, but at 15 degrees C, a very warm day!  Lots of sunshine.  Today, we spent time around the north part of the coast where we found an awesome beach overlook, then a water mill and then a burial mound.  Beautiful and all taken care of by the French Government.  Did you know that you can click on the photos for larger views?
