Magic Table....
Another few great days in France! Look at the glass table we bought a few weeks ago and have never put together..until now......not defective, just has spots on it....actually LED pin lights that have the choice of blinking or still light. How will Tom get any work done???? It makes into a desk, coffee table or dining table depending on the height you choose.
Just made some fresh cranberry sauce....found the berries at the Carrefour yesterday afternoon....lots of other good stuff too....our favorite store. We'll have the cranberries with a quarter of a turkey...a leg and thigh tonight. I'm sure you could order a whole turkey, but maybe we'll do that at Christmas....when Pilla comes to visit us!
We're getting into the holiday spirit as we left the Carrefour after dark and saw all the great Christmas lights in the towns we traveled through to get home....where are the lights for Kerdruc? Will have to take that up with the Mairie! Friday we're off early to drive to Vannes to catch the TGV to Paris. We'll spend the night at an airport hotel and then meet Calla first thing in the morning on Saturday after her plane arrives (with a 50 lb suitcase of goodies for us!). Then, we'll head back to Vannes where we'll spend one night seeing that town....we hope to find lots of lights in the "City of Lights" and hopefully some Christmas Markets too in both cities. We're sooooo excited to see Calla and she's excited to see our house.....and us too! Maybe turkey with her too!
