Fountain Fontaine????

Seems like every Sunday is a sunny, warm day here in Brittany.  Plenty of rain on most other days, but Sunday is filled with everyone going to the ocean to walk along the trails and explore the beaches.  The wind was pretty strong today, but the temperature was about 12 degrees C.  We have noticed that there  are lots of extra people in our area this week.  Lots of families enjoying the holidays together.  We went to the Thalassotherapy at Benodet on Friday evening where there were about 50 people in the pool!  It was different from the pool in Dournanez last month as there were children of all ages as well as adults.  It was equally relaxing to be in the water though!  Yesterday, we did errands in Quimper after leaving the hotel and had lunch at a KFC...an experience!  We had chicken tenders and a salad with chicken strips.  No mashed potatoes and gravy and no cole slaw.  Very good tasting chicken.    Not an experience we'll need to repeat any time soon.  

Today we went to the Car Wash in Nevez to wash our filthy car and then drove to the beach in Trevignon.  We're not sure what the above pool is about....might be a sacred fountain at the ocean or just where people used to do their washing.  This is the closest one to the ocean that we have seen.  Very interesting and we'll have to get a book on the fascinating ancient remnants around us.
