Bastille Day in Pont L'Abbe

Wonderful day for a parade in Pont L'Abbe today...90 degrees and full sun blocked some of our photos, but it was quite a sight of dresses and coifs from all over Brittany.  After the parade, the crowd followed the marchers and dancers to the food stalls and we waited in line for an hour to get food!  Sausage and frites with cider and wine.  People watching at its best and the French (Bretons) are so well behaved!~  Two stages with Breton dancing by some of the participants of the parade and bands.  Then found the Breton museum in town which was free with the arm band that we had bought to get into the event!  Great day!
