Summer has arrived!
Sorry to say goodbye to Jane and her lovely family.....John, Ann and Zoe. At the moment they are probably at the Blue Lagoon after flying over the Atlantic for a stopover in Iceland. Then they will continue their flight to Washington, D.C. We had a great time with them and they were just a joy.
Got in some beach time yesterday at Regenez Plage with temperatures in the high 70's and low 80's. Now you know how to find us on the beach....we have the blue and yellow umbrella! It has not rained for a week and we need some moisture.....we have a huge yard and lots of rose bushes, potted plants, etc. Off tomorrow to a summer celebration of embroiderers in Pont L'Abbe. Photos soon! Then we will have Betty and Loic overnight tomorrow from Dinan. We're busy!
Also planned a timeshare visit for a week in Alenya, FR near the Spanish border on the Mediterranean in October with Calla. Also looking forward to seeing old friend, Ellen from Denver who will spend a month in an apartment in Paris and then coming to see us in late September. Also our British landlord will come with his wife and 2 children to spend 10 days in the apartment above our carport. We LOVE visitors!

And a great note from Lynn from Maryland who joined Calla and me in Columbia, MD for dinner with Katie, her daughter...a great chance to catch up and I miss you all! Thanks Lynn!
Pretty beach!!! I can't wait for October! Can we strap stuff to the roof of the car??? I think we may have too much for 2 weeks to fit in your little bitty car!
